David Chaum idea attracted numerous investors and employees before DigiCash went bankrupt in the late 90s.

Satoshi Nakamoto’s ideas are similar to the previously published articles in the 80s and 90s, they are all mentioning fast, a secure digital currency that doesn’t require control, management,
